Abstract
The rapid expansion of digital technologies and data availability has significantly reshaped contemporary journalism, leading to the rise of data-driven storytelling as a central practice in modern newsrooms. This article explores the convergence of data analytics, visualization, and narrative in journalistic workflows, highlighting how these tools enhance the depth, accuracy, and accessibility of news reporting. Through case studies of leading media organizations and analysis of evolving newsroom practices, the study examines the epistemological value of data, the communicative role of visualizations, and the use of audience analytics in editorial decision-making. It also addresses the institutional, ethical, and methodological challenges facing data journalism. The article argues that as journalism becomes increasingly data-centric, cultivating data literacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ethical frameworks will be essential to ensuring that data-driven storytelling serves the public interest and democratic discourse.
