Instructions To Authors

Overview

All manuscripts must contain the essential elements needed and must be divided into clearly defined sections such as Cover Letter, Title, Author Names with the corresponding author marked, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Figures and Tables with Captions, Acknowledgement, and Conflicts of Interest.

If the article includes any supplementary material, this should be included for peer review purposes.

Cover Letter

The article must always be accompanied by a cover letter stating the type of article and confirming that the article submitted is neither published nor under consideration by any other journal.

The cover letter should also include a statement of the main point of the article. Names, affiliations, and email addresses of five potential referees may be mentioned.

Main Submission

  • The title of the article must reflect the content and should not closely duplicate another published article.
  • All contributing author names must be mentioned with their affiliations and email addresses. The corresponding author’s telephone number is requested in case quick correspondence is required.

Article Structure

A. Research articles must contain abstract, keywords, introduction, material and methods, results and discussion, and conclusion.

B. Review articles must contain abstract, keywords, and the main text conclusion.

C. All remaining kinds of articles have abstract, keywords, and conclusion as optional.

  • The abstract must summarize the concept being addressed, how the study was performed, the primary results, and the author’s brief conclusion from these results. It should not exceed 350 words.
  • Keywords are the highlights of the article and should be 4-10 in number.
  • Abbreviations, if any, must be mentioned.
  • The introduction must be a concise review of the subject area and the rationale for the study.
  • Materials and Methods must include all methods used in sufficient detail so that other researchers can reproduce the research. Modified methods should be described briefly, and all materials used should be identified.
  • Results must be presented in a correct sequence with reference to tables, figures, and supplemental material as appropriate.
  • Discussion must include the new and important findings of the study, conclusions that can be drawn, analysis against previous findings, limitations, and implications for future research.

Supporting Material

Tables, figures with legends, and supplementary material, if any, must be cited appropriately within the text and may be submitted in separate Word files.

Acknowledgments for the work may be mentioned. Funding, if any, must be clearly stated within the acknowledgment section.

Conflicts of interest must be clearly mentioned.

References for all citations mentioned within the text must include the author’s name, year of publication, and the title of the article.

Example: Kim, Hui-Seon, et al. “Lead iodide perovskite sensitized all-solid-state submicron thin film mesoscopic solar cell efficiently exceeding 9%.” Scientific Reports 2 (2012): 591.

Publication Charges

Upon acceptance, authors are requested to pay Article Processing Charges towards the journal. This supports the further development of the journal.
